What personal data we hold, why we hold it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
TRANSFORTUNALT LTD, company number 16568666, of Unit 13 Cambridge Road, Barking, England, IG11 8NL, is the data controller for the personal data described here. Privacy enquiries: TRANSFORTUNALT@outlook.com or +44 7346 440239.
To answer enquiries and prepare quotations (legitimate interests, or steps towards a contract); to perform contracts for goods and services, including delivery and support (contract); to meet accounting, tax and company law obligations (legal obligation); to protect our systems and detect misuse (legitimate interests); and, only where you have opted in, to send occasional service updates (consent, withdrawable at any time).
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not profile visitors. The enquiry form does not transmit data to us in the background: submitting it opens your own email client with the message prefilled, which you then send yourself. If we later add analytics, it will be a privacy-respecting, cookieless tool and this page will say so.
Only where necessary: couriers and logistics partners for delivery; distributors and manufacturers for drop-shipping and warranty claims; software vendors where we provision a licence in your name; our hosting, email and accounting providers; and professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
We host in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area by default. Where a provider is outside the UK or EEA, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
Under the UK GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Email us and we will respond within one calendar month, free of charge in all but exceptional cases.
We apply multi-factor authentication on our accounts, encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, managed endpoint protection, patching, and backups that are regularly restore-tested. Reportable personal data breaches are notified to the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours and to affected individuals where the risk requires it.
When we build or host systems for you, we normally process personal data on your instructions as a processor rather than a controller. In those cases we enter into a written data processing agreement covering purpose limitation, confidentiality, sub-processors, security measures, assistance with data subject requests, and deletion or return of data at the end of the engagement.
Please raise any concern with us first — we would rather fix it directly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113, or at ico.org.uk.
We update this page when our processing changes and record the date below. Material changes affecting existing clients are notified by email.
